Knee no problem: Oosthuizen fit for Presidents Cup

INCHEON, Korea – Louis Oosthuizen said he will be ready to play on Thursday when the Presidents Cup gets underway after withdrawing from the Tour Championship last month with a muscle strain in his right knee.

“I had a very relaxed week last week,” Oosthuizen said on Monday at the Presidents Cup. “It should be good. I’ve had a lot of therapy and stuff on it. I don’t really know where it came from but it’s fine. It went away very quickly.”

Oosthuizen, who withdrew after 14 holes on Day 1 at the Tour Championship because of his ailing knee, said he played just 18 holes while riding in a golf cart back home in South Florida last week and that he still feels tightness in his knee “every now and then.
