WOBURN, England — Soren Kjeldsen is a self-confessed golf geek. It probably explains why he’s having one of the best seasons of his life.
The 40-year-old Dane returned a 3-under-par 68 in the £3 million ($3.4 million) British Masters at Woburn to add to his opening 65. He moved to 9 under par and into a tie for the lead with England’s Matthew Fitzpatrick. Kjeldsen is chasing his second win of the season following the Irish Open earlier this year.
Three-time winner Kjeldsen is one of those players who has got the absolute most out of his talent.
