HONOLULU –– Kevin Kisner may have held onto his lead in the FedEx Cup standings, and, yes, Zac Blair had just locked up the best finish of his young PGA Tour career, yet both players left Waialae Country Club on Sunday feeling rather disappointed.
Kisner and Blair each had their chances to win during the final round of the Sony Open in Hawaii before settling for T-5 and third-place finishes, respectively.
After playing well through 54 holes and sitting one shot back of Blair and Brandt Snedeker entering Sunday, Kisner struggled with all aspects of his game during the final 18 holes.
