A month after withdrawing from the HanaBank Championship with a back injury, Cristie Kerr is making her return this week to the LPGA.
Kerr will tee it up Thursday at the Lorena Ochoa Invitational feeling better. She’s looking for a strong finish in Mexico City to give herself a shot at the Race to the CME Globe $1 million jackpot in Naples, Fla, next week.
Kerr needs a strong effort to move into the top nine on the CME Globe points list. The top nine going to the CME Group Tour Championship have a chance to win the $1 million CME Globe payout.
