NAPLES, Fla. – Cristie Kerr and Ha Na Jang took command of the CME Group Tour Championship Sunday at Tiburon Golf Club.
They aren’t in the running for the Race to the CME Globe’s $1 million jackpot, but there’s a $500,000 first-place check in the offering for the tournament’s winner.
Kerr’s 6-under-par 66 gave her a share of the lead at 13 under overall with Jang (69). They’re two shots ahead of Gerina Piller (67) and Lydia Ko (69).
Kerr is seeking her 18th LPGA title with some new Parsons Xtreme Golf (PXG) clubs in her bag for just the second week.
