Ken Green recovers after surgery to ease leg pain

Ken Green is a tough man to keep down. Green, 57, who had his lower right leg amputated following a horrific RV accident in 2009, underwent what is being deemed a successful procedure March 9 in Kalamazoo, Mich., to insulate the nerve endings on his leg.

“The doctors said it was a horribly tangled, painful mess of nerves and veins and muscle in there – one of the worst cases they had ever seen,” according to Green's blog, KenGreensComeback.com. “They cut out eight neuromas, and are confident that this was causing the majority of his pain.
