RIO DE JANEIRO – Martin Kaymer hasn’t hit a shot that matters at the Olympics but the experience has already altered the way the German views his own game.
Kaymer, who arrived in Rio early to participate in the Opening Ceremony and is staying in the athlete village, said being able to spend time with other Olympians has inspired him.
“If you see the other athletes, how much work that they put into this week, and the love that they have for their sport, it's a completely different approach of playing your sport right now,” he said Wednesday at the Olympic Golf Course.
