EDISON, N.J. – For all of the apparent outrage within the ranks of the media over the news that Martin Kaymer would not retain his PGA Tour membership in 2015-16, there seems to be a glaring disconnect.
Players who know Kaymer and understand the global golf stage a lot better than reporters do simply shake their heads. They don’t see the big deal.
Said Adam Scott: “Martin? I think he’s quite fine with it.”
Scott and Henrik Stenson know Kaymer quite well and think the two-time major winner is capable of mapping out a yearly schedule.
