Justin Thomas made history Saturday at the 2017 U.S. Open at Erin Hills in Erin, Wisconsin, shooting a nine-under par 63 in the third round.
Per the PGA Tour on Twitter, Thomas' nine-under is the lowest single-round score relative to par in U.S. Open history.
To reach 63, the 24-year-old had nine birdies, two bogeys and an eagle on the par-five 18th hole.

As part of Thomas' record-breaking day, he jumped up 23 spots and held a two-shot lead at the time he walked off the course.
