Frenchman Julien Quesne carded a 5-under 67 during the second-round of the Volvo China Open at Tomson Shanghai Pudong Golf Club to take the 36-hole lead on Friday.
Quesne, a two-time European Tour winner, leads by one over fellow countryman and defending champion Alexander Levy and American Peter Uihlein. He is at 8-under 136 through two rounds.
"I played much better today, so that was the main reason for my good score,” Quesne said. He tied for fourth in last week’s Shenzhen International. “My performance last week definitely helps build the confidence, so I felt good at the start of the week and I’m still feeling good now, but there’s a long way to go.
