Jordan Spieth wins John Deere Classic in playoff

Two years ago, Jordan Spieth holed a bunker shot at the par-4 18th hole at TPC Deere Run to get into a playoff at the 2013 John Deere Classic. Spieth went on to win the playoff and notch his first career PGA Tour victory.

Now a two-time major champion and the world's second-ranked golfer at 21 years old, Spieth qualified for another playoff at the John Deere on Sunday in Silvis, Ill.

Different year, same result.

Spieth needed two tries at the 18th to defeat Tom Gillis. He lipped out a birdie putt on the first playoff hole before winning the second playoff hole with par after Gillis hit his second shot in the water.
