With the spring college season having started, it’s time to start thinking about postseason awards. One of those honors, the Ben Hogan Award, began to take shape today as 25 golfers were named to the watch list.
The annual Ben Hogan Award takes into account all amateur competitions during the past 12 months. The selection committee, which votes during each stage of the process, is composed of leaders in professional, amateur and collegiate golf.
The list of 10 semifinalists, which could include individuals not on the watch list, will be announced April 13. On May 3, three finalists will be named.
