UNIVERSITY PLACE, Wash. – Dustin Johnson saw how quickly things can unravel late in the afternoon at Chambers Bay.
Better get used to it – he’ll be in the penultimate group Saturday at the U.S. Open.
Bashing his way to the lead in the second round, Johnson bogeyed three of his last five holes Friday to sit one shot off the lead heading into the weekend.
“Tomorrow is going to be a good test, I would imagine, they’re going to set it up pretty hard,” he said. “I’ve got a good game plan out here; I just need to stick to it.
