If a mother’s love is a blessing, then what of a father’s glove? An heirloom, perhaps, through which to glimpse deeply into the soul of the son to whom it is passed?
“He wouldn’t stop using it, even when I got him his own glove,” Mike Furyk said. “I finally got him to let me restring it with new rawhide. He was OK with that.”
