Jason Day goes down after dizzy spell at U.S. Open

Jason Day went down near the end of his second round Friday at Chambers Bay, but still managed to finish the round. Day, who started the day in contention after a first-round 68, was on the left side of the fairway at the ninth hole – his last – when he fell to the ground and stayed there for several minutes.

Day appeared to show signs of dizziness, and Fox Sports reported that Day hit his head when he went down. Paramedics helped Day back to his feet so that he could blast out of a greenside bunker and two-putt for bogey to finish off an even-par 70.
