Neither Ha Na Jang nor Mirim Lee made a bogey on Friday at the HSBC Women's Champions, and it vaulted the pair to the lead.
Jang (66) posted four birdies and an eagle, and Lee (67) pieced together five birdies to reach 8 under and move ahead of the field in Singapore. Pornanong Phatlum (67) and Suzann Pettersen (69) are both one behind. Gerina Piller (68) sits at 6 under, with Paula Creamer (67) one further behind.
After winning her first career LPGA event last month, Jang, 23, is once again in position to capitalize. The South Korean's 66 was the best round on Friday at the Serapong Course at Sentosa Golf Club, but she's not looking ahead with 36 holes to play.
