Jamie Lovemark continues long rise back with move into API contention

ORLANDO, Fla. – One-time phenom Jamie Lovemark has experienced a revival in 2015-16, and on Friday, the good times may have climbed their highest yet.

While nobody from the morning contingent was catching Jason Day in the second round at the Arnold Palmer Invitational, Lovemark came the closest. The 28-year-old put together a second consecutive 68 on Friday, moving him within five at 8 under and in solo second when he finished his round.

Lovemark, 6 feet 4 inches tall, pointed to his excellent ball-striking, with aggressive (and long) play off the tee, in facilitating the excellent two days of scoring.
