Florida State junior Jack Maguire is turning pro.
The St. Petersburg, Fla., native confirmed to Golfweek on Thursday that he will forego the rest of his junior year at Florida State and turn professional before final stage of Web.com Tour Q-School, which will take place Dec 10-13 at PGA National in Palm Beach Gardens, Fla.
Maguire, who qualified and made the cut at the 2015 U.S. Open, recently finished fourth at the second stage of Web.com Tour Q-School. The top 45 and ties in final stage earn their 2016 Web.com Tour cards while all qualifiers earn at least conditional status on the tour.
