Inkster prepared if Wie unable to play Solheim

U.S. Solheim Cup captain Juli Inkster is expecting Michelle Wie to be ready to go when her team heads to Germany in three weeks, but she’s prepared just in case.

Wie, who has battled left hip, knee and ankle injuries the last three months, showed no signs of pain before missing the cut Friday at the Canadian Pacific Women’s Open.

“She feels fine,” Inkster said. “She just feels a little rusty. I have to go with what she’s telling me. I’m not a doctor. I have to believe she’s going to be ready.
