Juli Inkster will make history in Scotland next year.
She will become the first American to captain three Solheim Cup teams.
The LPGA announced Inkster’s reappointment Tuesday morning on Golf Channel’s "Morning Drive".
Inkster was the master architect of the Americans’ historic come-from-behind victory in Germany three years ago and an impressive rout in Iowa last summer.
“I’m sure every girl up here would agree that Juli is a freaking rock star,” Gerina Piller said after the American victory last summer. “We look up to her so much, and we cherish every moment we have with her, all the words she gives us, whether it's a kick in the butt or just a hug.
