Inkster keeps eye on U.S. Solheim Cup team as she excels at Evian

EVIAN-LES-BAINS, France – Stacy Lewis and Juli Inkster were chatting about potential Solheim Cup pairings on the range Saturday morning when Lewis asked the obvious question: “Can you play?”

Inkster laughed.

The ageless captain shot 68 for the second consecutive day at The Evian Championship to sit in a tie for 21st. Only four members of her Solheim Cup team have managed to beat her to this point.

“This golf course is really a lot different than the German golf course we’re playing,” Inkster said. “I’m not worried.”

On Thursday night, Inkster took the team to her favorite fish place, a restaurant about 15 minutes away from the course that she frequents each year.
