RYE, N.Y. – They had to add a base to the KPMG Women’s Championship trophy because the original had run out of room. LPGA commissioner Mike Whan joked that they could’ve kept the old one as is and simply added check marks beside Inbee Park’s name.
That’s now three in a row at this major for Park, the latest coming at the new KPMG Women’s PGA Championship at historic Westchester Country Club.
Park, who closed with a 5-under 68, played 56 consecutive holes without a bogey.
“I do things that I can’t even believe,” said Park, who took home $525,000.
