Idaho's Rylee Iacolucci plays big despite small stature

BURLINGTON, Iowa – Rylee Iacolucci might not stand tall, but he sure stands out. At 5-foot-2, 119 pounds, the Idaho senior is golf’s little big man.

“Don’t judge a book by its cover,” said Eastern Michigan’s Kyle Rodes, who kept Iacolucci’s card in Round 2 of the Golfweek Conference Challenge. Iacolucci’s flawless 6-under 66 helped the Vandals vault up the leaderboard into fourth after an 11-under 277.

Iacolucci rips at the ball. Despite being eight inches shorter than the average male, Iacolucci hits it about 285 yards off the tee, or an average length compared to most college players.
