Hossler, Lee lead U.S. in Round 1 of Pan American Games

In a true mix of talent – with pro, college and junior golfers competing – the United States team finds itself tied for second through one round at the Pan American Games.

Junior golfer Andrea Lee, a class-of-2016 Stanford commit, led the way for the U.S., shooting a 3-under 69 at Angus Glen Golf Club in Markham, Ontario.

But the round was not enough to put Lee on top, as she trails LPGA golfer Julieta Granada (Paraguay) by one stroke in the women's individual race.

At the event, which acts as a precursor to the 2016 Olympic games, there is a men's, women's and mixed team competition.
