CHARLOTTE, NC -- Phil Mickelson had seen the shot before. It was an easy wedge, no more than 80 yards from the pin, resting right in the middle of the perfectly groomed 13th fairway at Quail Hollow Country Club. The amateur golfer playing with Mickelson in Wednesday's pro-am missed the green entirely.
