Hoffman gets major confidence boost from Masters

HILTON HEAD ISLAND, S.C. – Following his best finish in a major championship last week at the Masters Charley Hoffman arrived at the RBC Heritage with renewed confidence for the remainder of the year’s Grand Slam events.

Hoffman, who began the final round paired with eventual champion Jordan Spieth at Augusta National, closed with a 74 to tie for ninth, his first top-10 finish in a major.

“I wouldn’t say a ton has changed, I just executed our game plan which has a lot to do with that golf course,” Hoffman said.
