1720 SCOTT HITS MONSTER DRIVE AT PAR-FOUR 11TH
The wind can hurt but also help. Adam Scott, the 2013 champion, has just poked his tee shot 345 yards at the 11th, the longest drive recorded at the hole all week. Scott has dropped one shot in 10 holes, a decent performance, but at five-over has his work cut out to get near the leaders, especially with the winds forecast to abate slightly during the afternoon.
1650 ROCKY KISNER GETS LUCKY BOUNCE
Kevin Kisner's second shot at the par-five 13th struck a rock in a tributary of Rae's Creek and ricocheted 50 yards back towards him.
