For the second straight day, a 17-year-old has taken the lead at the Swinging Skirts LPGA Classic behind a barrage of birdies.
But on Friday, it wasn't Lydia Ko – the World No. 1 turned 18 today. Instead, it was Brooke Henderson, the former No. 1 amateur who is playing this week on a sponsor invite. Henderson made her charge on the back nine, playing it in 5-under 31 with three birdies and an eagle – she hit a 3-wood into the green and made the 15-footer at No. 14 – finishing with a 65 and reaching 9 under for the week.
