NAPLES, Fla. – Brooke Henderson is golf’s iron woman.
Henderson will be making her 31st start of the LPGA season this week, which is more starts than any other player on tour this year. That doesn’t count her Olympic start in Rio de Janeiro. The only LPGA events she missed were the Toto Japan Classic and the Honda Thailand.
“I'm young,” Henderson said. “I saw it kind of as a challenge.”
Henderson, 19, won twice this year, her first major, the KPMG Women’s PGA Championship, and the Cambia Portland Classic, where she defended her title.
