HARRISON, N.Y. – Brooke Henderson’s is surrounded by a lot of star power on the KPMG Women’s PGA Championship leaderboard going into Sunday’s final round.
The 17-year-old Canadian shot a 2-under-par 71 Saturday and sits six shots off the lead.
Henderson is tied for third with Hall of Famer Karrie Webb and two-time major champion Suzann Pettersen. She trails only Inbee Park, who is poised to return to Rolex world No. 1, and Sei Young Kim, who has won two LPGA titles this year.
“I think every LPGA Tour event that I've played this year, I've definitely learned something about myself and the game and the competition,” Henderson said.
