Entering Saturday's third round of the True Thailand Classic, Scott Hend wasn't feeling too sharp.
"Out of 10, I felt like 2 out of 10," Hend said. "Felt really tired, no energy."
But Hend grinded out a 2-under 70 in windy conditions at Black Mountain Golf Club and will take a two-shot lead over Peter Uihlein into the final round in Hua Hin, Thailand.
Hend, ranked 60th in the Race To Dubai, sits at 14-under 202 through 54 holes. He made four birdies on Saturday, including three in his final six holes. He is aiming for his second career European Tour victory.
