Luke Donald has endured a few turbulent years as he attempts to rediscover the form that saw him rise to world No. 1. The latest change came last month, when he was unexpectedly fired by longtime caddie John McLaren.
“It was more his decision than mine – I was a little surprised,” Donald told The Mirror (UK) on Thursday. “Now I am looking for someone who is energetic, upbeat and brings a good energy to the round.”
Donald, who hasn’t won since the 2013 Dunlop Phoenix, has slid to No. 66 in the world rankings.
