CARMEL, Ind. – Brian Harman has shot 68 or better in four of his past five rounds on the PGA Tour.
The day he didn’t was very costly.
Harman entered the final round of last week’s Deutsche Bank Championship in second place, three shots off the lead. He blew up during a closing 77 and plummeted into a tie for 24th, squandering not just some serious cash but also valuable FedEx Cup points. He now sits 57th in the standings.
Three days after that final-round disaster, Harman made four birdies and an eagle during a bogey-free 66 Thursday at the BMW Championship.
