SAN DIEGO -- Jason Gore pulled off the rarest of shots on Saturday during the third round of the Farmers Insurance Open, holing his second at the par-5 18th for an albatross, or what some call a double eagle.
Gore, 41, a veteran with one PGA Tour victory, came to the 18th, his ninth hole for the day, on Torrey Pines' South course at even par for the tournament after two bogeys.
