OAKMONT, Pa. – Many will miss the cut on Saturday but only one was disqualified Friday at the U.S. Open.

Sweden's Peter Hanson was DQ'd late in the second round at Oakmont when he signed an incorrect scorecard.

The two-time European Ryder Cup team member shot an opening-round 77 but signed for a four instead of a five on the 11th hole in the second round. He would have shot 75 and, at 12 over par, was going to easily miss the cut anyway.

Hanson, 38, was making his eighth U.S. Open appearance, and he earned this start via sectional qualifying in England.
