Ever since Tiger Woods posted video on Wednesday of himself hitting a single, 9-iron shot…into a simulator…everyone and anyone has broken down and analyzed the footage of him “progressing nicely” as if it were the Zapruder film.
But there was some interesting insight from his former instructor Hank Haney, who analyzed what he saw in Tiger’s movement during his Sirius/XM PGA Tour Radio show co-hosted with fellow instructor Steve Johnson. Some may say that Haney still has an ax to grind with his former pupil. Haney, who coached Woods for six years until shortly after the 2010 Masters and wrote a tell-all book, “The Big Miss,” about his tenure, hasn’t spoken with Woods since they parted in 2010.
