U.S. captain Jay Haas said in a radio interview Thursday that he still doesn’t know whether Jim Furyk will be fit enough to play in next week’s Presidents Cup.
Furyk has been dealing with a bone bruise in his left wrist for the past few weeks. He skipped last week’s Tour Championship to try and get ready for the matches in South Korea.
“Jim is still testing his wrist,” Haas said on SiriusXM PGA Tour Radio. “I don’t think it’s quite where he wants it to be, but he’s doing everything he can to be there.
