An early rain delay pushed back the the start of the LPGA’s Marathon Classic just enough on Friday that the second round will bleed into Saturday. Still, the top of the leaderboard didn’t change much as South Korea’s Ha Na Jang just extended her lead. Jang did finish on Friday, and a 4-under 67 gave her a two-shot cushion.
Jang had a 9-under 133 total at Highland Meadows. She has made 23 career tour starts but has yet to win. On Friday, she made no bogeys and holed a 12-foot birdie putt on the par-4 ninth.
Jang’s compatriot was Q Baek was second after a 67.
