Having won on two different tours last month, Emiliano Grillo is looking to complete the trifecta this week at the DP World Tour Championship.
The Argentine played alongside Rory McIlroy Friday in Dubai and managed to beat the former world No. 1, carding an 8-under 64 to McIlroy's 68. At 11 under, Grillo sits alone in second place, one shot behind Andy Sullivan who took sole possession of the lead with a lengthy birdie on No. 18.
Grillo won the Web.com Tour Championship to close out a successful stint in the Web.com Tour Finals, then won his first event as a PGA Tour member when he captured the Frys.
