Emiliano Grillo has already clinched his 2015-16 PGA Tour card – and his European Tour ticket, for that matter – but the Argentinian is striving for more.
Grillo took the halfway lead at the Web.com Tour Championship on Friday, firing a 6-under 64 at the TPC Sawgrass - Dye's Valley course to jump one ahead of the field. He moved from seventh to first as he reached 10 under by the day's conclusion.
The 23-year-old finished off his round in style, too. There was the birdie on 17 and then an eagle hole out with a 9-iron from 175 yards at the last.
