Graeme McDowell battles back at Scottish Open, trails leader Alex Noren by four shots

INVERNESS, Scotland – Alex Noren leads the $4.2 million Aberdeen Asset Management Scottish Open by two shots over England’s Tyrell Hatton and Matteo Manassero of Italy. Noren is on 12-under-par after 54 holes, but he’ll be looking over his shoulder at a chasing pack that includes Graham McDowell.

G-Mac could be the man to beat at Castle Stuart Golf Links. The 2008 Scottish Open champion sits just four shots off the lead on 8-under-par after a 3-under-par 69.

The 2010 U.S. Open winner looked to have shot himself out of contention when he played the outward nine in 37, 1-over-par.
