(Updates after leader tees off)
SPRINGFIELD, New Jersey, July 31 (Reuters) - Jimmy Walker increased his lead to two strokes early in the final round of the weather-interrupted PGA Championship after Jason Day took his first bogey in 30 holes at soggy Baltusrol.
Walker parred the opening hole to stand 11 under par in the year's final major, but the defending champion from Australia hit his tee shot into the right rough and his next shot across the fairway into the left rough on his way to bogey.
That dropped Day to nine-under, where he was tied with British Open winner Henrik Stenson of Sweden (through two holes), American Brooks Koepka (four holes) and South African Branden Grace, who charged up the leaderboard by going three-under through 12.
