NASSAU, Bahamas – At 8:20 on a bright April morning, a Toyota shuttle pulled up to the Baha Mar Academy on West Bay Street. About 15 workers, many in hardhats, streamed off the van, and just as many piled on, to be shuttled to a different area of the $3.5 billion Baha Mar casino resort project.
The scene played out every minute or so – workers arriving and departing on Baha Mar vans – as the thumping of heavy machinery punctuated the early morning air.
