The PGA Tour announced Thursday that the Genesis Invitational will be relocated to an alternate site due to wildfires that have been burning in Los Angeles, via Gabby Herzig of The Athletic.
Riviera Country Club, where the event is held annually, has not been "directly affected" by the fires in the Pacific Palisades but the course is located close to some of the most "significant damage" in the region, per Herzig.
Tiger Woods will continue to host the competition, but a substitute location hasn't been revealed yet.
