A day after taking the first-round lead at the Porter Cup, Scott Harvey fired a second-round, 1-under 69 Thursday at Niagara Falls Country Club. However, it wasn't enough to keep his spot atop the leaderboard.
That's because Gavin Hall, a rising junior at Texas, carded a second-round 67 to move to 8 under and take a one-shot lead over Harvey, Trevor Cone and Carter Jenkins.
After going bogey-free during an opening 65, Hall birdied his first three holes Thursday. He played his last 15 holes, though, in even par. Jenkins had the round of the day with a 65 to climb the leaderboard.
