Local favorite Gavin Hall maintained his lead in the Porter Cup, shooting a 4-under 66 Thursday at Niagara Falls Country Club for a two-stroke lead after 36 holes.
Hall, of nearby Pittsford and a senior at Texas, shook off a double bogey-bogey malaise on the front nine to play his final 14 holes in 6 under par, sparked by an eagle at the 576-yard par-5 13th hole. He stands at 9-under 131.
Harrison Endycott of Sydney, Australia, shot 64, the low round of the tournament, to move into second place at 133.
