DORAL, Fla. – Although he got off to a late start, it’s been a mixed year for Sergio Garcia.
After missing the cut at the Northern Trust Open, his first start on the PGA Tour in 2016, the Spaniard came up one stroke short last week at the Honda Classic to Adam Scott.
“As soon as I shook hands with Adam, it was over. No, it was fine,” Garcia said of last week’s near miss. “I was coming off a terrible week at Riviera, which is a place I really, really enjoy and I was very disappointed with that.
