Fowler continues hot play with second consecutive 66 at Honda Classic

PALM BEACH GARDENS, Fla. – PGA National’s Champion Course is one of those PGA Tour tracks where danger lurks everywhere one looks. There’s water, there’s usually wind, and there’s plenty of length to keep a guy grinding inside as he contemplates the next awaiting shot.

Rickie Fowler was the lone player at the Honda Classic to get through the opening round bogey-free. Apparently, he liked the feeling so much he decided to do it again early Friday, shooting a second-consecutive glitch-free, 4-under 66 to move into the lead midway through a tournament played only 15 minutes from his Jupiter residence.
