INCHEON, South Korea – U.S. captain Jay Haas reverted to something familiar for Saturday afternoon’s final fourball session at the Presidents Cup, pairing Jordan Spieth with Patrick Reed in the day’s final match.
“I think Patrick has wanted this since last fall. They had some success in the Ryder Cup and I think Jordan can bring out the best in Patrick,” Haas said. “We were trying to make it happen earlier in the week but didn't.”
Reed and Spieth went 2-0 in fourball play at last year’s Ryder Cup, but on Day 1 here the world No.
