Jiyai Shin has indicated she might make a return to the LPGA. The former World No. 1 won 11 times on the LPGA before moving to the Japan LPGA full time in 2014.
Shin, a two-time winner of the Toto Japan Classic, can reunite with old tour pals this weeks at Kintestsu Kashikojima Country Club.
“I had a new goal in Japan tour and that was to win Player of the Year,” said Shin, “and after making that I’m really thinking about going back to the U.S.”
The former World. No. 1 is currently 35th in the Rolex Rankings and 22nd in the Golfweek/Sagarin rankings.
